Night paints the ocean, when it's 4 AM
And like clockwork, the canvas sinks me in
Flying, fiercely, with no where to go
And the cold emits its own warm glow.
Rocky waters drive along the tide
Easing in to the Other Side.
Saturday eyes, and Sunday lies
The dream's still here, with morning in sight
I felt as bricks against the wind
Beside the road is no way to live.

Twin Fountains

(From that sweating September,

A sly August dream, in a seam of dream machines
)

They cried before me.

Ragged, raging, graceful beauties
Ravaging, roaring, whipping air
Hurricanes, that gushed kinder care.
Of peach, yellow, royal blue
Sobbing color, real and true.
With sacred knowledge, that spun trickling webs
As would any castle, painted, in delightful debt

‘I cannot owe you’, I ever said.

And we were climbing higher, unsunk, above it all--

Blooming as fragments from a wall,
those desires, once believed, stretched ivy tall.

Transcending, transforming, into the rush
of every, fleeting, whispered hush
Tap dancing, sweet melodies, in my ears
Yield under fragile, wishing years.
If they're looking for me, they'll look no more

You'll find me, here,
where the sun shines on my soul.

Two, twin fountains, taught me all I know.

Lark Ascending

We washed down his fiery stones
And sanded down his stars
Just enough for us to tear them all apart.
Every hair, and every blade
gliding through our sphere
We saw his majesty, coated
sweetly, through thin air.
And every man saw a different shade
Whatever wished them well
I found nothing in the blades but the story he had to tell.

Stone In Focus

Remember me as you pass by
As you are now so once was I
As I am now so you will be
Prepare for death and follow me.
